The Bible
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16, 17).
God
We believe in one God, eternally existing as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19).
Jesus Christ
We believe in the full divinity and humanity of Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, his sinless life, his atoning death on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, his bodily resurrection, his ascension to the Father, and his imminent return (John 1:1-14; 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, offered by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not by works but by grace that anyone can be reconciled to God by repenting sin and trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Acts 4:12).
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who empowers believers to live holy lives and equips them for service; He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to the Church for the edification of the Church and the furthering of the Gospel (John 16:8-13; Acts 1:8).
The Church
We believe in the universal Church as the body of Christ (with Christ Himself as the head) made up of all born from above believers in Christ.
The return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to earth. His return will bring final judgment, the resurrection of the dead, and the establishment of God’s eternal kingdom (Acts 1:11; Revelation 19:11-16).
