The food of the soul

“I am the bread of life; he who comes to me will not go hungry” (John 6:35)

Feeding oneself is a necessity that cannot be ignored.
It is generally recognized that our survival depends on food, so it has been called the “primary need” of all humankind.
While the urgencies of physical life, which though destined to end, are recognized, there is superficiality, if not indifference, about what concerns the eternal good of immortal souls.
Just as bread and water are needed for daily life, it is necessary to nourish our spiritual life!

Indeed, Jesus states, “Truly I say to you, not Moses gave you the bread that comes from heaven, but my Father gives you the true bread that comes from heaven. For the bread of God comes down from heaven and gives life to the world” (John 6:32, 33).

Dear reader, recognize the primary need to feed your soul with the bread that comes down from heaven. This bread is not just for living on this earth, but also prepares you for heavenly glory, assuring you of eternal life.
In Christ, in His sacrifice, and His Word is the food you have not yet known.

Prayer Team
Join the Prayer Team of Reconciliation & Care Ministries International, a group of Christian believers worldwide committed to praying for God’s movement in San Diego County, for prayer requests sent to us, and for the work of the Holy Spirit in each participant’s city and nation.
Begin devoting a specific 30-minute prayer time on any day of the week and remain faithful in your commitment before God. Only the site administrators will know your commitment; no one else will know about it, but God sees and renumerates faithfulness. Your 30′ commitment will be shown with an anonymous colored square in the grid that we will show periodically on the half-hour set aside.
If you leave us your cell phone number, you will be able to receive a message in case of urgent need; otherwise, you will be notified by email no more than once a week for requests submitted to us with the appropriate form.
Your commitment is worth a lot. Pray with confidence. God bless you!
