God’s love is light

God’s love is light

God makes us see things.

He doesn’t just make us believe them.

If you keep your eyes fixed on this light, you see things as they are. But if you don’t keep your eyes fixed on that light, you start to see everything through the lens of your beliefs, your experiences, your limitations, and your wounds. We need to enter this light.

If your eyes are filled with worry, you are your worries; you can see it in your face that you are worried. When you fix your gaze on your shortcomings, you can see in your face that you are frustrated. When you fix your gaze on problems, on enemies, on those who make you suffer, everything about you speaks of those enemies.

We cannot hide what we have looked at.

We become what we fix our eyes on.

The problem is this: if I fix my eyes on the light, I am light, but if I fix my eyes on the darkness, I am darkness.

Prayer Team
Join the Prayer Team of Reconciliation & Care Ministries International, a group of Christian believers worldwide committed to praying for God’s movement in San Diego County, for prayer requests sent to us, and for the work of the Holy Spirit in each participant’s city and nation.
Begin devoting a specific 30-minute prayer time on any day of the week and remain faithful in your commitment before God. Only the site administrators will know your commitment; no one else will know about it, but God sees and renumerates faithfulness. Your 30′ commitment will be shown with an anonymous colored square in the grid that we will show periodically on the half-hour set aside.
If you leave us your cell phone number, you will be able to receive a message in case of urgent need; otherwise, you will be notified by email no more than once a week for requests submitted to us with the appropriate form.
Your commitment is worth a lot. Pray with confidence. God bless you!

Mark 11:24 – Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
Matthew 6:6 – But when you pray, go into your room, shut the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father, who sees you in secret, will reward you.
James 5:16 – Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.
Luke 11:2-4 “When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us our needed bread every day. And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us. And do not lead us into hard testing but deliver us from evil.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; this is God’s will in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Chronicles 16:11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
